Angelic Guidance is Here for the Asking

Illuminated Engagements provides angelic and divine guidance through channeled means and products.

At Illuminated Engagements Centre for Whole-Being, we are starting to make videos and audio products which provides divine and angelic guidance. Recently we had our first Live Channeling Event. This Event provided lots of great angelic guidance and wisdom. We’ll be posting short videos of this event on YouTube over the next few weeks. A full-length DVD will be available at our web store soon.

We also will be providing a variety of downloadable audio information recordings. These recording will be about angelic guidance as well as high wisdom from the Divine Guidance Team, on many subjects.

Our latest short video is entitled: Help is Here for the Asking and provides a short explaination of how you can ask for help from your angels. We had lots of fun putting this short angelic guidance video together — please note that the video’s captions are from the Divine Guidance Team.

Practicing Spiritual Protection Daily Keeps the Spooks Away

I heard someone the other day tell me, when talking about spiritual practices and specifically protecting one’s self from negativity – “But I took a salt bath!” – as if that was the one thing that was ever needed to be done for overall protection.

Yes, I wanted to argue, and I brushed my teeth this morning, but if that is the last time I brush, I probably will get cavities.

Spiritual protection should become a part of your daily spiritual practices. Envision yourself first thing in the morning in the protective arms of the angels, or ask for their help in protecting and guiding you through the day. Set your morning intention of allowing yourself to receive positive energies and repel negative energies. At night time, just as you crawl into bed, give thanks to the Universe for a great day. Don’t emphasis the bad parts, but remember and praise the good. Focus on the good parts of your day and give the rest to the Higher Source to deal with. Envision yourself bathed in a wonderful white light and ask the angels to watch over you as you sleep. You can even ask the angels to let you sleep with them!

A daily set of spiritual practices or rituals help your psyche accept the principals of universal law. It helps to guide through the pitfalls of the day and reminds you that love and well-being are our natural state. It helps protect you from the negativity of the world and guides you towards your desired outcomes.

You brush your teeth every day to prevent cavities. You should also practice spirituality every day too. Make it part of your daily routine and observe the positive changes that come into your life.

Blake practices her Daily Gratitude’s both morning and night and her Daily Intentions every morning. Daily prayers send up asking the angels to help protect her through the day. Every once in a while she’ll take a salt bath too! A little mix of kosher and Epson salts melt away the cares of the day and provides a spiritual cleansing as well.

The Power of Intention

Maya is one of my 'dancing cats'.
Every morning, as I just wake up and lie in bed, my cats dancing around me eager for their mother to get up and feed them, I perform what I call my Gratitudes and My Intentions ritual. It is the time where I say thanks for waking up and all the things I am grateful for –including dancing cats and alarm clocks and where I also state what I am planning to do that day. It is a brief outline, in my head, about the day’s events and what I intent to accomplish that day. For example, I intended to write this blog today, which will be posted a few days from the time I’m writing this. I also intended to keep my mood happy and my attitude bright.

They are small steps to keep me focused and on the path I’m choosing to go on. It takes only a few minutes before I roll out of bed, my feet hitting the ground and I’m off on a new day.

As I go to sleep at night, I also say what I am grateful for –for example, that I accomplished my intention! But if I didn’t fulfill my intention – I am still grateful for the opportunity to do so the next day.
I found an on-line article on the power of intention, by Sharon Salzberg who is the author of “Faith: Trusting Your Own Deepest Experiences.” She relates her own point of view about intentions and has some good information to share.

Habits are simply actions you keep giving power to – some habits are good habits – like stating your intention daily and another good habit is being grateful for all that you have in life. Remember to be grateful daily and set your intentions. You’ll be amazed just how far you can go!

Blake is grateful for all her dancing cats and sets her intention daily. She doesn’t always accomplish her intention, but just formulating it keeps her mind sharp and her attention alerted to the possibilities that life offers her daily.
