Things That Go Bump in the Night – Part 4

“From ghoulies and ghosties, And long-leggedy beasties, And things that go bump in the night, Good Lord, deliver us!” ~Traditional Scottish Prayer

In previous blogs, we’ve addressed how to keep your personal spiritual protection up; so we’ll address this only slightly here. Keeping a daily spiritual practice will help keep you aligned with more positive energies, along with magnets to disburse residual energies and kosher sea salt to absorb negative energies. I use two types of pure essential oils which originally stem from nature. Dragon’s Blood essential oil or incense will create a vacuum and suck up both good and bad energies. Use Frankincense to replace the neutral energy with positive energy. Use these sparingly—a little goes along way, along with a few good prayers and invocations to bring in the angels to help clear the place, and you’re usually good to go.

But what happens if unwanted activity begins to re-appear? Of course you can repeat the above activities to counter-act the unwanted activity, but if the activity continues to re-appear, then you may want to re-examine if you don’t really want the activity to be gone.

Unfortunately there are many who get their kicks, thrills or attention with unwanted activity –and not just from the occasional haunting. People who lack luster in their lives, crave attention or are otherwise preoccupied with causing undue trouble in their own lives may not really want to rid of something not energetically healthy for them. Like moths to a light bulb, some people just gravitate towards this life style. They are attention-getters and this may be their way of getting attention—at least for the time being.

Or they might be young, naive and crave excitement. Teenagers with Ouija boards are well known to keep bringing in all sorts of troublesome beings.

Then there are those who are depressed, lonely, drug or alcohol-addicted or even mentally-ill in some fashion that may bring in and want to keep those that might do them harm.

Each case is different and one has to examine and investigate not only the reputed haunting, but the people and their stories who are reporting the haunting. There was a TV drama show on the other night where for all intents and purposes it appeared a girl was possessed of demons, perpetuated by an overzealous religious father. Of course, much of the activity was hyped up – Hollywood is famous for keeping us scared about such things. Too many erroneous beliefs about negative spirits come from TV and movies. In the show, the girl was found not to be possessed, but rather on PCP drugs and was basically tripping badly.

Again, good intentional blessing ceremonies will take of the problem usually. Whether you perform it or have someone more versed in this type of ceremony is up to you.

Remember, living breathing people have the power of the majority of negative entities and beings. There are a few dimensional beings that float once in awhile and then there’s the guardian angel who gets glimpsed and mistaken for something else, due to an overactive imagination.

In our next blog, we’ll wrap up our series and discuss some more about imagination and how it can affect our emotions and perceptions when it comes to things that go bump in the night.

Things That Go Bump in the Night – Part 2

Here is this week’s blog!

We are re- presenting our 5 part series on Things That Go Bump in the Night.  Enjoy!

So, in our last blog, we briefly discussed shadow people and provided a Catholic prayer for protection from Archangel Michael.

Many use this prayer or another longer version or a Biblical verse to help protect them again that which you refer to as demonic spirits. Many also wear crosses or the Star of David or some other holy relic in a necklace or amulet form, to help protect them from evil.

Now many people are fearful and let fear rule their lives. Before the invention of the light bulb, man most feared the dark and that which could reside in the dark.

If you’ve ever been on a camping trip, out in the dark wilderness and the safety of a reassuring night light, and aren’t familiar with the area or the denizens of Mother Nature at night, the imagination can go wild and fear can settle in and terrify you. We even tell each other ghost stories to stir up the fright. Early man had many fears –from wild animals to other men who would do him and his family harm—and stories of wild beasts in the night became the legends and mythology of werewolves and vampire lore.

The Catholic and Christian Church have done much over the last two thousand years to keep man in check and the Church in power. They have done this with the use of powerful fear methods. History will tell us that the invention of the Devil was produced to keep the fear going. Religion kept both men and women under its thumb with this real threat of the devil and the concept of Hell. This threat often was realized by burning, torturing and otherwise killing people off who dared to stand up to the Church and go against that which had declared sacrosanct. Witness the witch burnings of the 12th – 17th centuries and the Spanish Inquisition.

It is easy to believe in the Devil and the power of Satan when the Church continues to propagate such stories and produces such action. It wasn’t until the atomic bomb was detonated that we found out that the Devil may not lie within the pages of the Bible and in the structures of the Church, but may indeed lie within ourselves.

The Divine Guidance Team says: “Look in the mirror and you will find true evil. For there are good people in this world and there are many ‘bad’ people in the world. Those that would cause tremendous harm to another whether in life or in death—these are those you refer to as ‘bad’. And this is where negative entities truly come from. People who have left their earthly body and not passed through the Light and gone to Heaven, but stayed behind for whatever reason—this is the being which you fear in the night. This is the main source of your negative entities and evil beings. Call them demons in life and you can call them demons in death. They would do you harm in life and would do so in death.”

The good news though is that the Living always has power over the Dead. And again, call on the angels to remove them from your presence. Sprinkle kosher sea salt, sage your home, bless it with dragon’s blood and frankincense. These are all tools to chase away that which would want to cause you harm.

Many negative entities come through intentional or unintentional calling. We’ll address that in our next blog. As well as those that come from different dimensions and may cause us fright.

Things That Go Bump in the Night – Part 1

Fear dominates our world these days.  Many years ago, I posted a 5 – part series on this subject and how to deal with it.  We are republishing it now, over the new few weeks.   Enjoy!

“From ghoulies and ghosties, And long-leggedy beasties, And things that go bump in the night, Good Lord, deliver us!” ~Traditional Scottish Prayer

Recently there have been a slew of questions addressed to us, about negative entities, shadow people and what people refer to as demons. The question of how do you trust what you’re seeing and feeling also came up. How do you know it’s an angel you are summoning and not a trickster or negative entity or a demon? How can you protect yourself against negative entities? Over the next few blogs, we’ll be exploring these subjects.

Following are the answers that come from 1. my personal experience and training as a psychic/medium/channel (PMC) with over (yikes) 50 years plus experience; 2. My research into some of the phenomenon is being reported; and of course 3. Information coming directly from the Divine Guidance Team—Archangel Michael, Archangel Metatron, Lord Master Kuthumi and the Orion Energies—Bartholomew, Malachi and Ellery. Some of the answers that will be presented may challenge your current belief systems. This is normal and natural; I’ve always explained to people that what I’ve learned, experienced and receive from the Team and pass along to others, may not also jive with what others have been taught or believe. Just keep an open mind and if the information isn’t something you can accept, then leave it and seek elsewhere. But if you have questions –please feel free to ask and we’ll do our best to answer them.

First of all, I did a bit of research on the subject of shadow people — which seem to come in a several versions and varieties and for any number of reasons. Shadow people – larger than life human shaped dark shadows that lurk in the corner of bedrooms, cars, closets and other rooms of the house – have been studied and reported for generations. There are no clear cut answers according to the research although many have said they are ghosts, inter-dimensional beings, demons or a product of an overactive imagination or part of sleep paralysis dreaming. Some wear fedoras, others have red eyes. Some get chased away when calling on Archangel Michael, others feel friendly and nice.

I know personally if I saw a shadow person with red eyes staring at me at the middle of the night —I’d be terrified. But I never have. Oh, the occasional shadowy lurker can be seen now and again and if they get to be too frightening I simply call on the Divine Guidance Team to take them away. Or I’ll tell them to get out (very sternly and with true intention.) I’ve been known to grab some kosher sea salt (I keep a supply for house blessings) and sprinkle it around the house. This usually does the trick for me.

I don’t have exclusive rights to the Divine Guidance Team –so call on them when you need them. They are there to help. There is a Catholic prayer for Archangel Michael which many use and recite. You can use the prayer even if you’re not Catholic– or simply ask the angels for protection. If you start to feel better (which you should)—then you know they’ve done the job. Here’s the Catholic prayer for protection from Archangel Michael:

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host –
by the Divine Power of God –
cast into hell, Satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

But if you don’t feel better—well, then there may be several other reasons why you’ve attracted something negative to you. We’ll be talking about that in our next blog.

Embracing Change

Did you know that we are programmed to fight against change?
How are you dealing with change?
Is change always good?

There are a lot of things in the world today that are changing.  Sometimes we feel there are too many changes; sometimes we think things may have the appearance of change, but are really the same and then sometimes nothing feels like it changes.  Where are you in all of this mix? How are you embracing change?

Probably, like most of us, somewhere in the middle.  But did you know that we have a defense mechanism against change?   It’s called the ego –and it’s there to protect us against possible harm.  The ego puts on the brakes and says, “Now wait a minute, slow down, let’s this think out a bit more before taking further action.”  And for many of us, this is a very helpful thing –since some of us rush into things without thinking.

Then there are those of us who let this type of thinking stop us dead in our tracks.  “Whoa, we say.  That little voice is right.  I better stay right where I am and not do or go anyplace further.”  Don’t we all know people who never seem to change?  Who never strays from their comfort zone?  Who never goes out and experiences everything life has to offer?

They have the appearance of being afraid of change.  They may say they aren’t afraid and are quite comfortable where they are.  And maybe they are.  How are they responding to the world in that state of mind?  Are they happy with their life?  Do they treat others kindly?  If so, great!  Let them be who and what they are – that may very well be their current purpose in this lifetime.

But if they aren’t…well then, they are letting fear rule their life and may very well be quite miserable.  We all know people like this, don’t we?

Ego is not the Enemy

The ego can be a powerful tool for good or not so good.  It’s our reaction to that voice that is the key.  You can push pass this voice –it was only designed to slow you down not stop you in your tracks.  So listen to it and then analyze your own situation.  Weigh your options and your possibilities.  Maybe do some actual planning around the change.  Examine how you truly feel about the change and deal appropriately with those emotions.  Is the change in alignment with your soul’s mission and/or life purpose?  Examine what your reluctance truly is about and determine if it’s appropriate for you or a deterrent for you.  How are you showing up in the world as a result of your actions or non-actions?

We’ll be talking more about ego and how you can better deal with it over our next blog subjects.  We’ll even begin to start to talk more about your soul’s mission and your life purpose –which may be two separate things!  Lots of discussion ahead!

So let us know how you handle change in your life?  Do you often listen to the voice of ego and let it stop you or do you manage to at least sometimes push past the voice and go towards actual achievement?

Let us know—we want to know how you deal with this subject!

Fear into Action

Fear into Action“Instead of letting fear rule us and our emotions, we can choose a better way of handling the situation. We can choose to transform fear into action – positive action that up lifts both ourselves and those who we are dealing with.

The simplest way to deal with this is to ‘let go and let God’.  Or in other words, let the situation become dormant and then bless it.  Gratitude is the key here.  Express gratitude for the situation and lessons it is showing you.  You may have to take some time in order to do this, but when you show gratitude instead of judgment; you are sending out a better vibe and thus will receive a better result.”

These are the words I wrote in the Law of Belief workshop book, which I’m teaching this week online.  I was putting the final editing on the book when I came across this information that I had written.

And I had to stop and laugh, for I had just gone through a situation where I needed to hear these very words!  The wisdom of the Divine had come through for me again.

I am positive that much of what I write is inspired information.  And even when I write, edit and read the information presented, I sometimes still don’t my own message!  It’s true, we teachers can teach you all that we know, but sometimes forget to apply to our own lives.

I reached out to a friend last night about my particular situation and she walked me through the process of turning my  fear into action, anger into non-judgment in a loving, nonjudgmental way that I simply wasn’t capable of last night.  My emotions were too high and raw.

But in the light of the next day I was better and believed I handled the situation well.  We’ll see –it’s ongoing and hasn’t concluded yet.  It’s really a minor thing – but something I hadn’t experienced and so didn’t know how to handle.  And then in morning I read my own words!   Again—the universe agreeing with us in such a wonderful fashion!

So lessons learned: step back and take a breath when something pops up for you that become too emotional to handle in the moment and find and use and be grateful for your support system.  Thank you my dear friend to be there for me when I needed you.  Thank you for showing me what I wrote and for letting me process this situation in such a loving wonderfully blessed manner.

Life is great — you just need the tools to navigate through it!  Inspiration and motivation, hope and insight – it’s all there for the asking.

Thank you for allowing us to Improve Your Life with Divine Wisdom and Guidance!
